Purchases worth Rs 16.10 crore on 1 April 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 16.10 crore on Wednesday, 1 April 2009, much lower than Rs 627.40 crore on Tuesday, 31 March 2009.
MFs' net inflow of Rs 16.10 crore on 1 April 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 359.40 crore and gross sales Rs 343.30 crore. The BSE Sensex gained 193.49 points, or 1.99%, to 9,901.99 on that day.
