Fidelity MF appoints new director

With effect from 20 April 2009

Sian Cooper has been appointed as a director of Fidelity Mutual Fund. Sian Cooper is the Executive Director, Business Strategy and Oversight, Europe at Fidelity. She joined Fidelity group in April 1987 and has held various positions within the group over a 22 year period, including roles in strategic planning, systems development, product development and general business management. At present, she handles the Europe oversight functions, including legal, compliance, risk management and investigations and also the European strategy role spanning both retail and institutional business. She is currently also a member of the European operating committee, which provides leadership oversight across the European business. Cooper holds a degree in B.Sc. (Hons), from the University of Exeter.
