Purchases worth Rs 421.80 crore on 17 April 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 421.80 crore on Friday, 17 April 2009, as against an outflow of Rs 812 crore on Thursday, 16 April 2009.
MFs' net inflow of Rs 421.80 crore on 17 April 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 936.60 crore and gross sales Rs 514.80 crore. The BSE Sensex gained 75.69 points or 0.69% to 11,023.09 on that day.
MFs were net buyer of shares worth Rs 127 crore in this month, till 17 April 2009.
