Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 332.60 crore on Monday, 20 April 2009, much lower than Rs 789.10 crore on Friday, 17 April 2009.
FII inflow of Rs 332.60 crore on 20 April 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 1868.20 crore and gross sales Rs 1535.60 crore. The BSE Sensex lost 43.59 points or 0.4% to 10,979.50 on that day.
FII inflow in April 2009 totaled Rs 4,609.70 crore (till 20 April 2009). FII outflow in calendar year 2009 totaled Rs 2062 crore (till 20 April 2009).
