Mutual funds continue selling

Net sales of Rs 73.60 crore on 3 June 2015

Mutual funds sold shares worth a net Rs 73.60 crore yesterday, 3 June 2015, compared with their net outflow of Rs 45.20 crore during the previous trading session on 2 June 2015. 

The net outflow of Rs 73.60 crore on 3 June 2015 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 989.50 crore and gross sales of Rs 1063.10 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had shed 351.18 points or 1.29% to settle at 26,837.20 on that day, its lowest closing level since 7 May 2015. 

Mutual funds have sold shares worth a net Rs 264.60 crore in this month so far (till 3 June 2015). They have purchased shares worth a net Rs 4176.70 crore last month.
