Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth a net Rs 108.19 crore on Friday, 19 June 2015, lower than net sales of Rs 646.75 crore during the precedingtrading session on Thursday, 18 June 2015.
The net outflow of Rs 108.19 crore on 19 June 2015 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6463.26 crore and gross sales of Rs 6571.45 crore. There was a net outflow of Rs 108.11 crore from the secondary equity market on 19 June 2015 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6463.26 crore and gross sales of Rs 6571.37 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex rose 200.34 points or 0.74% to settle at 27,316.17 on that day, its highest closing level since 1 June 2015.
