Sales worth Rs 222.90 crore on 6 April 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 222.90 crore on Monday, 6 April 2009, as against an inflow of Rs 245.10 crore on Thursday, 2 April 2009.
MFs' net outflow of Rs 222.90 crore on 6 April 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 570.50 crore and gross sales Rs 793.40 crore. The BSE Sensex gained 186.04 points, or 1.8%, to 10,534.87 on that day.
MFs bought shares worth a net Rs 38.30 crore in this month, till 6 April 2009.
