Purchases worth Rs 359.70 crore on 9 April 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 359.70 crore on Thursday, 9 April 2009, as against an outflow of Rs 489.50 crore on Wednesday, 8 April 2009.
MFs' net inflow of Rs 359.70 crore on 9 April 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 931.20 crore and gross sales Rs 571.50 crore. The BSE Sensex gained 61.52 points or 0.57% to 10,803.86 on that day.
MFs were net seller of shares worth Rs 90.10 crore in this month, till 9 April 2009.
