Kotak MF introduces free life insurance cover for four funds

With effect from 15 June 2009

Kotak Mutual Fund has introduced an invest plus insure facility under Kotak 30, Kotak Opportunities, Kotak Tax Saver and Kotak Midcap with effect form 15 June 2009.

The facility is suitable for investors who intend to build wealth over long periods of time by investing systematically and avail the benefit of free life insurance cover with it. The facility helps an investor to build a corpus through Monthly Systematic Investment Plan (SIP).

For all the above mentioned schemes, the fund house will charge an entry load of 2.25% for any investment and no entry load for direct applications. It will charge an exit load of 2.00%, for redemptions within the first five years from the date of allotment and nil for redemption after completion of five years from allotment.
