Plans to launch small and mid cap infrastructure fund
Name of Fund: Tata Small and Mid Cap Infrastructure Fund
Scheme: An open ended equity scheme
Investment Objective: The Investment Objective of the Scheme is to seek long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in small and mid cap stocks of companies engaged in or expected to benefit from the growth and development of infrastructure sector.
Investment Options: The scheme will offer growth and dividend option.
Asset Allocation: The fund will invest up to 65%-100% in equities and equity related instruments of infrastructure companies included in the CNX Midcap Index or equity and equity related instruments of infrastructure companies which have a market capitalisation lower than the highest components of CNX midcap index, of which it will invest upto 55%-90% in midcap stocks, 10%-45% in small cap stocks and upto 35% in other equity and equity related instruments. It will also invest upto 35% in debt, money market and securitised debt instruments.
Investment by the scheme in securitized debt will not normally exceed 30% of the net assets of the scheme.
The notional amount of net outstanding exposure to derivative will not exceed 100% of the net assets of each scheme.
At the time of investment, investment in foreign securities will not exceed 35% of the net assets of the scheme.
NFO price: Rs 10 per unit
Load structure: The scheme will charge 2.25%. And it will charge 1.00% of an exit load if redeemed / switched on or before expiry of two years from the date of allotment of each investment.
Minimum Investment Amount: The minimum investment amount under the scheme is Rs 10000 per application and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter during the NFO period.
Minimum Target amount: The Fund seeks to collect a minimum targeted amount of Rs 2 lakh during NFO.
Benchmark Index: CNX Midcap Index.
Fund Managers: Venugopal M will manage domestic Portfolio of the fund, Dinesh Da Costa will manage Overseas Portfolio and Mahendra Kumar Jajoo will manage Debt Portfolio of the fund.
