Birla Sun Life MF announces change in key personnel

With effect from 19 June 2009

Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund has announced change in the key personal. Nishit Dholakia and Shaktie Prakash have been designated as the key personal of Birla Sun Life Asset Mutual Fund, with effect from 19 June 2009.

Profile of the Fund Managers:

Nishit Dholakia aged 33, is a qualified CA and B.Com graduate. He has over 9 years if experience in equity research, fund management and fund operations having worked with Birla Sun Life AMC for around 6 years and IDFC Investment Advisor and Reliance Capital AMC.

Shaktie Prakash aged 29, is PGDBM, IIM Lucknow, Major in Finance and Economics. He has over 6 years of experience. Prior to joining BSLAMC, he has worked with Aditya Birla Management Corporation, Aayush and Seaarland Shipping Management.

The portfolio responsibilities of the Maneesh Dangi-Head Fixed Income and Satyabrata Mohanty – Head Mixed Assets have been realigned with immediate effects.

Prasad Dhode jointly with Sunaina da Cunha will manage the following funds, Birla Sun Life Cash Plus, Birla Sun Life Cash Manager, Birla Sun Life Floating Rate Fund – Long Term and Short Term Plans. Maneesh Dangi jointly with Shaktie Prakash will manage, Birla Sun Life Gilt Plus and Birla Sun Life Government Securities Fund. Maneesh Dangi will manage Birla Sun Life Savings Fund, Birla Sun Life Income Fund, Birla Sun Life Short Term Fund.

Maneesh Dangi jointly with Sunaina da Cunha will manage Birla Sun LifeShort Term Opportunity Fund. Satyabrata Mohanty jointly with Nishit Dholakia will manage Birla Sun Life MIP, Birla Sun Life MIP II, Birla Sun Life Monthly Income and Birla Sun Life'95 Fund. Satyabrata Mohanty will manage Birla Sun Life Asset Allocation Fund. And Ajay Garg will manage Birla Sun Life MNC Fund.
