Mutual funds turn sellers

Sell shares worth Rs 59.80 crore on 14 May 2009

Mutual funds (MFs) turned net sellers of equities worth Rs 59.80 crore on Thursday, 14 May 2009, after remaining buyers for previous two consecutive sessions

MFs' net outflow of Rs 59.80 crore on 14 May 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 449.30 crore and gross sales of Rs 509.10 crore. The BSE 30-share Sensex slipped 146.74 points or 1.22% to 11,872.91 on that day.
