Purchases worth Rs 450.60 crore on 22 May 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 450.60 crore on Friday, 22 May 2009, much higher than Rs 97.40 crore on Thursday, 21 May 2009.
MFs' net inflow of Rs 450.60 crore on 22 May 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 1,031.10 crore and gross sales Rs 580.50 crore. The BSE Sensex had gained 150.61 points or 1.10% to 13,887.15 on that day.
MFs were net buyer of shares worth Rs 169.20 crore in May 2009 (till 22 May 2009).
