Purchases worth Rs 27.20 crore on 8 May 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 27.20 crore on Friday, 8 May 2009, much lower than Rs 106.30 crore on Thursday, 7 May 2009.
MFs' net inflow of Rs 27.20 crore on 8 May 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 187.90 crore and gross sales Rs 160.70 crore. The BSE Sensex lost 240.51 points or 1.98% to 11,876.43 on that day.
MFs were net buyer of shares worth Rs 507.20 crore in May 2009 (till 8 May 2009).
