Mutual funds turn net sellers

Net outflow of Rs 78.80 crore on 11 November 2014

Mutual funds sold shares worth a net Rs 78.80 crore on Tuesday, 11 November 2014, compared to net inflow of Rs 36.30 crore on Monday, 10 November 2014. 

The net outflow of Rs 78.80 crore on 11 November 2014 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 617.40 crore and gross sales of Rs 696.20 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex rose 35.33 points or 0.13% to settle at 27,910.06, its highest closing level since 5 November 2014. 

Mutual funds have sold shares worth Rs 847.30 crore in November 2014 (till 12 November 2014). They had purchased shares worth Rs 5939.70 crore in October 2014.
