Mutual funds extend selling

Net outflow of Rs 91.30 crore on 13 November 2014

Mutual funds sold shares worth a net Rs 91.30 crore on Thursday, 13 November 2014, compared to net outflow of Rs 18.40 crore on Wednesday, 12 November 2014. 

The net outflow of Rs 91.30 crore on 13 November 2014 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 687.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 778.50 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex fell 68.26 points or 0.24% to settle at 27,940.64, its lowest closing level since 11 November 2014. 

Mutual funds have sold shares worth Rs 957 crore in November 2014 (till 13 November 2014). They had purchased shares worth Rs 5939.70 crore in October 2014.
