Mutual funds continue selling

Net outflow of Rs 18.40 crore on 12 November 2014

Mutual funds sold shares worth a net Rs 18.40 crore on Wednesday, 12 November 2014, compared to net outflow of Rs 78.80 crore on Tuesday, 11 November 2014. 

The net outflow of Rs 18.40 crore on 12 November 2014 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 731.10 crore and gross sales of Rs 749.50 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex gained 98.84 points or 0.35% to settle at 28,008.90, a record closing high for the index on that day. 

Mutual funds have sold shares worth Rs 865.70 crore in November 2014 (till 13 November 2014). They had purchased shares worth Rs 5939.70 crore in October 2014.
