Mutual funds in selling mode

Net outflow of Rs 302.10 crore on 19 November 2014

Mutual funds sold shares worth a net Rs 302.10 crore on Wednesday, 19 November 2014, compared to net inflow of Rs 174.40 crore on Tuesday, 18 November 2014.

The net outflow of Rs 302.10 crore on 19 November 2014 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 688.90 crore and gross sales of Rs 991 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had declined 130.44 points or 0.46% to settle at 28,032.85 on that day, its lowest closing level since 13 November 2014. 

Mutual funds have sold shares worth Rs 674.30 crore in November 2014 so far (till 19 November 2014). They had purchased shares worth Rs 5939.70 crore in October 2014.
