Sales worth Rs 209.80 crore on 5 August 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 209.80 crore on Wednesday, 5 August 2009, as against an inflow of Rs 25.40 crore on Tuesday, 4 August 2009.
MFs' net outflow of Rs 209.80 crore on 5 August 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 589.70 crore and gross sales Rs 799.50 crore. The BSE Sensex rose 72.85 points or 0.46% to 15,903.83 on that day.
