Birla Sun Life Gilt Plus Fund offers dividend

Record date for dividend is 16 March 2009

Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund has proposed to declare dividend for Birla Sun Life Gilt Plus Fund. The dividend will be declared under Quarterly dividend and Annual dividend option under each liquid plan, PF plan and regular plan of Birla Sun Life Gilt Plus. The record date for the dividend is 16 March 2009.

Birla Sun Life Gilt Plus-Quarterly Dividend Option

The fund has planned to distribute dividend under Quarterly Dividend Option. It will offer 2.4% (Rs 0.24 per unit) for liquid plan, 2.5% (Rs 0.25 per unit) under PF plan and 2.9% (Rs 0.29 per unit) under regular plan on face value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme recorded NAV of liquid plan (Rs 10.4447 per unit), PF plan (Rs 10.3458 per unit) and regular plan (Rs 12.1903 per unit) as on 09 March 2009.

Birla Sun Life Gilt Plus- Annual Dividend Option

The fund will distribute dividends under Annual Dividend Option. The quantum of dividend will be 3.5% (Rs 0.35 per unit) under liquid plan, 18% (Rs 1.80 per unit) in PF plan and 20.5% (Rs 2.05 per unit) under regular plan on face value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme recorded NAV as follow: under liquid plan (Rs 10.3940 per unit), PF plan (Rs 20.2686 per unit) and regular plan (Rs 25.1950 per unit) as on 09 March 2009.

Birla Sun Life Gilt Plus Fund is an open ended government securities scheme with the objective to generate income and capital appreciation through investments exclusively in government securities.
