Purchases worth Rs 226.30 crore on 16 March 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 226.30 crore on Monday, 16 March 2009, much lower than Rs 624.70 crore on Friday, 13 March 2009.
MFs' net inflow of Rs 226.30 crore on 16 March 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 623.30 crore and gross sales Rs 397 crore. The BSE Sensex gained 186.93 points, or 2.13%, to 8,943.54 on that day.
MFs were net buyer of shares worth Rs 229.10 crore in this month, till 16 March 2009.
