Principal Pnb Mutual Fund has launched Principal Pnb Fixed Maturity Plan -385 Days – Series XI on 13 March 2009. The new issue will be opened for the subscription till 23 March 2009. The NFO price for the fund is Rs 10 per unit. It is a close-ended debt scheme.
The investment objective of the scheme is to build an income oriented portfolio and provide returns along with regular liquidity to investors.
The scheme offers two plans viz. regular and institutional plan with growth and dividend options. The dividend option under both plans will further offer dividend payout and sweep facilities.
The minimum investment amount under regular plan is Rs. 1,000. And under institutional plan, the minimum investment amount is Rs. 50 lakh. The minimum targeted amount to collect during NFO period is Rs 10 crore.
The fund will have 100% of total net asset in debt securities and money market instruments with low to medium risk profile. It will also invest 100% in government securities with low risk profile. Investment in securitised debt may be up to 100% of the net assets of the scheme.
Badrish Kulhalli will be the fund manager for the scheme.
The performance of this scheme will be benchmarked against the CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index.
No entry and exit load will be charged.
