Mutual funds extend buying

Net inflow of Rs 230.80 crore on 13 March 2015

Mutual funds bought shares worth a net Rs 230.80 crore on Friday, 13 March 2015, lower than inflow of Rs 381.80 crore during the preceding trading session on 12 March 2015. 

The net inflow of Rs 230.80 crore on 13 March 2015 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1075.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 844.40 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex declined 427.11 points or 1.48% to settle at 28,503.30 on that day, its lowest closing level since 10 February 2015. 

Mutual funds have bought shares worth a net Rs 7633.30 crore in this month so far (till 16 March 2015). They had bought shares worth Rs 4309.20 crore last month.
