Bond yields ease, bond auction details eyed

10-year G-sec Paper yield declines to 8.81% 

The yield on 10-year benchmark federal paper, 8.83% GS 2023, eased 02 basis points to 8.81% at 10.30 am compared to 8.83% at close in the previous trading session. 

The total trading volume on central banks gilts trading platform stood at Rs 9000 crore.
Bond yields eased in the early trading after sharp increase on previous trading session. However, the traders are awaiting the details of weekly bond auction scheduled to be released today. 

The weighted average rate in the overnight call money eased to 8.36% at 10.45 am compared to 9.18% in the previous session. The call money rate was hovering in the range of 8.05% to 8.4% with the volume of Rs 6121.5 crore.
