UTI Opportunities Fund declares dividend

Record date for dividend is 10 July 2009

UTI Mutual Fund has announced dividend under dividend option of UTI Opportunities Fund. The record date for the declaration of dividend is 10 July 2009.

The quantum of dividend will be 10% i.e. Rs 1 per unit on the record date on face value of Rs 10 per unit. The NAV of the scheme was at Rs 12.5200 per unit as on 2 July 2009.

UTI Opportunities Fund is an open-ended equity oriented scheme. The scheme seeks to generate capital appreciation and/or income distribution by investing the funds of the scheme in equity shares and equity-related instruments. The focus of the scheme is to capitalise on opportunities arising in the market by responding to the dynamically changing Indian economy by moving its investments amongst different sectors as prevailing trends change.
