Inflow of Rs 568.30 crore on 3 July 2009
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 568.30 crore on Friday, 3 July 2009, higher than 401.90 crore on Thursday, 2 July 2009.
FII inflow of Rs 568.30 crore on 3 July 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 2,149.60 crore and gross sales Rs 1,581.30 crore. The BSE Sensex had risen 254.56 points or 1.74% to 14,913.05 on that day.
FII inflow in July 2009 totaled Rs 1,134 crore (till 3 July 2009). FII inflow in calendar year 2009 totaled Rs 25,678.20 crore (till 3 July 2009).
There are a total of 1673 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India (Sebi).
