Religare MF Declares Dividend for Contra Fund

Record date for dividend is 7 September 2009

Religare Mutual Fund has announced the declaration of dividend on the face value of Rs 10 per unit under dividend option of Religare Contra Fund. The record date for dividend has been fixed as 7 September 2009.

The fund house has decided to distribute 12% (Rs 1.20 per unit) as on the record date. The NAV for the scheme was at Rs 12.86 per unit as on 31 August 2009

Religare Contra Fund is an open ended equity scheme, which has the investment objective to generate capital appreciation through investment in equity and equity related instruments. The scheme will seek to generate capital appreciation through means of contrarian investing.
