SBI Mutual Fund has unveiled a new fund named as SBI Equity Opportunities Fund – Series IV, a close-ended equity scheme. The tenure of the scheme is 3 years from the date of allotment. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs 10 per unit. The new issue will be open for subscription from 07 October and close on 21 October 2015.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation from a diversified portfolio of equity & equity related instruments.
The scheme offers growth and dividend (payout & transfer) options under both regular plan and direct plan.
The scheme shall invest 65-100% in equity and equity related instruments and up to 35% in debt and money market instruments.
The minimum application amount is Rs 5000 and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter.
The fund seeks to collect a minimum subscription (minimum target) amount of Rs 10 crore under the scheme during the NFO period.
The scheme would be listed on NSE.
Entry and exit load charge will be nil for the scheme.
Benchmark Index for the scheme is S&P BSE 500.
