DBS Chola Mutual Fund has decided to change in the fundamental attributes of DBS Chola Freedom Income-Short Term Fund. The change will be effective from 9 October 2009.
Revised Investment Objective:
The investment objective is to generate reasonable and stable income and provide liquidity to the unit holder To achieve this objective the scheme will invest predominantly in a well diversified and highly liquid portfolio of money market instruments, government securities and corporate debt. The scheme will not invest in equalities or equity related instruments.
Revised Asset Allocation:
The scheme would invest money market instruments, bonds issued by Government and corporate, debentures and other debt securities (including securitized debt) upto 100% of the corpus.
Accordingly the scheme will invest 0% to 100% of asset in debt securities and money market instruments (including cash/call money). It would have a risk profile of low to medium.
