Mutual funds turn net sellers

Net outflow of Rs 16.90 crore on 14 July 2015

Mutual funds sold shares worth a net Rs 16.90 crore yesterday, 14 July 2015, compared with net inflow of Rs 196.50 crore during the preceding trading session on yesterday, 13 July 2015. 

The net outflow of Rs 16.90 crore on 14 July 2015 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 674.40 crore and gross sales of Rs 691.30 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex fell 28.29 points or 0.1% to settle at 27,932.90 on that day, its lowest closing level since 10 July 2015. 

Mutual funds have bought shares worth a net Rs 1556.90 crore in this month so far (till 14 July 2015). They have purchased shares worth a net Rs 10325.50 crore in June 2015.
