Mutual funds continue buying

Net inflow of Rs 156.80 crore on 23 February 2015

Mutual funds bought shares worth a net Rs 156.80 crore during the previous trading session on Monday, 23 February 2015, compared with net inflow of Rs 167.20 crore on Friday, 20 February 2015. 

The net inflow of Rs 156.80 crore on 23 February 2015 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 980.30 crore and gross sales of Rs 823.50 crore. On that day, the S&P BSE Sensex fell 256.30 points or 0.88% to settle at 28,975.11, its lowest closing level since 12 February 2015. 

Mutual funds have bought shares worth Rs 3321.10 crore in this month so far (till 23 February 2015). Mutual funds had bought shares worth Rs 879.50 crore in January 2015.
