Reliance Mutual Fund has announced the change in fundamental attributes of Reliance Long Term Equity Fund, with effect from 22 January 2015.
The proposed changes are:
Name of the scheme: Reliance Mid & Small Cap Fund.
Investment objective: The primary investment objective of the scheme is to seek to generate long term capital appreciation & provide long-term growth opportunities by investing in a portfolio constituted of equity & equity related securities and derivatives predominantly in Mid Cap & Small Cap companies and the secondary objective is to generate consistent returns by investing in debt and money market securities.
Asset allocation pattern:
The scheme would allocate 80%-100% of assets in equity and equity related instruments, of which 50%-70% of assets in mid cap companies, 15%-30% in small cap companies & upto 30% in large cap companies with high risk profile and invest upto 20% of assets in debt and money market instruments (including securitized debt) with low to medium risk profile.
Existing investors have an option to exit without payment of exit load with in a period of 30 days from 22 December 2014 till 21 January 2015.
