Mutual funds continue buying

Net inflow of Rs 459.50 crore on 14 October 2014

Mutual funds bought shares worth a net Rs 459.50 crore on Tuesday, 14 October 2014, lower than net inflow of Rs 483.80 crore on Monday, 13 October 2014. 

The net inflow of Rs 459.50 crore on 14 October 2014 was as a result of gross purchases of Rs 1077.10 crore and gross sales of Rs 617.60 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex fell 34.74 points or 0.13% to settle at 26,349.33, its lowest closing level since 10 October 2014 on that day. 

Mutual funds have bought shares worth Rs 2733.20 crore in October 2014 (till 14 October 2014). Mutual funds have bought shares worth a net Rs 4171.50 crore in September 2014.
