Kotak Mutual Fund Launches Kotak Hybrid Fixed Term Plan - Series 2

NFO period is from 07 January to 20 January 2014 

Kotak Mutual Fund has unveiled a new fund named as Kotak Hybrid Fixed Term Plan - Series 2, a close ended debt scheme with the maturity of 3 years. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs 10 per unit. The new issue will be open for subscription from 07 January and close on 20 January 2014. 

The objective of the scheme is to generate income and minimize interest rate volatility by investing in debt & money market securities that mature on or before the maturity of the scheme and also to generate capital appreciation by investing in equity / equity related instruments. 

The scheme offers two plans i.e. regular & direct plan. Both the plans have two options viz. growth and dividend payout option. 

The scheme will invest 55%-95% of its assets in debt instruments including government securities, invest upto 10% of its assets in money market securities with low to medium risk profile and invest 5%-35% of its assets in equity and equity related securities with medium to high risk profile. 

Minimum application amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Rs 10. 

Entry and exit load charge will be nil for the scheme. The units of the scheme will be listed on BSE on allotment. 

Benchmark Index for the scheme is CRISIL MIP Blended Index.

The fund managers of the scheme are Abhishek Bisen (Debt segment) and Deepak Gupta (Equity segment).
