HDFC Fixed Maturity Plan 1302D September 2016 (1) Floats On

NFO is open for subscription only on 26 September 2016 

HDFC Mutual Fund has launched a new plan named as HDFC Fixed Maturity Plan 1302D September 2016 (1), a plan under HDFC Fixed Maturity Plans – Series 37 (a close-ended income scheme). The tenure of the scheme is 1302 days from the date of allotment of units. 

The face value of the new issue will be Rs 10 per unit. The new issue will be open for subscription only on 26 September 2016. 

The investment objective of the plan is to generate regular income through investments in debt / money market instruments and government securities maturing on or before the maturity date of the plan. 

The plan shall offer three options – growth, dividend and flexi option. The plan would invest 80%-100% of assets in debt instruments & government securities with medium risk profile and invest upto 20% of assets in money market instruments with low risk profile. 

The minimum application amount is Rs 5000 and in multiples of Rs 10 thereafter. 

The fund seeks to collect a minimum subscription (minimum target) amount of Rs 20 crore under the scheme during the NFO period. 

Entry and exit load charge will be not applicable for the plan. 

Benchmark Index for the plan is CRISIL Composite Bond Fund Index. 

The fund managers of the scheme are Anil Bamboli & Rakesh Vyas (Dedicated fund manager for overseas investments).

The investment objective of the scheme is to endeavor to protect the capital by investing in high quality fixed income securities as the primary objective and generate capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments as secondary objective. 

The scheme offers growth and dividend (payout) options under both regular sub plan and direct sub plan.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has announced 29 September 2016 as the record date for declaration of dividend under the dividend option of following schemes.

SBI MF Announces change in Key personnel & Fund Management

SBI Mutual Fund has announced that Ranjana Gupta, Fixed Income Dealer has been appointed as Fund Manager (debt) & Key Personnel of SBI Funds Management Private Limited (SBIFMPL). 

Jayesh Shroff & Dharmendra Grover, Fund Managers have resigned from the services of the company & cease to be Key Personnel of SBIFMPL. 

Anup Upadhyay, Fund Manager has also assumed charge as Head of Research in place of Dinesh Balachandran. 

Further, SBI Magnum Taxgain Scheme will be managed by Dinesh Balachandran, SBI Magnim Multiplier Fund will be managed by Saurabh Pant, Equity portion of SBI Dual Advantage Fund – Series I, II & III will be managed by Ruchit Mehta, SBI Tax Advantage Fund Series – I, II & III; SBI Long Term Advantage Fund – Series I, II & III will be managed by R. Srinivasan & SBI Equity Opportunities Fund – Series I, II & IV will be managed by Anup Upadhyay.

Franklin Templeton MF Announces Change In Directorship

With effect from 31 August 2016

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced the following changes have been carried out in the constitution of Board of Directors of Franklin Templeton Asset Management India Private Limited (FTAMIL), with effect from 31 August 2016. 

Accordingly, Harshendu Bindal has stepped down from the directors of FTAMIL. 

Sanjay Sapre, President has been appointed as the Director of FTAMIL. He is an associate director. 

IDBI MF Announces Change in Key Personnel

With effect from 22 August 2016 

IDBI Mutual Fund has announced that Dilip Kumar Mandal has been appointed as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer by the Board of Directors of IDBI Asset Management Limited, with effect from 22 August 2016. 

His appointment is pursuant to the repatriation of Satya Narayan, former MD & CEO of IDBI AML, with effect from 16 August 2016. 

ICICI Prudential MF Announces Merger of Two Schemes

With effect from 07 October 2016

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has approved the merger of ICICI Prudential Blended - Plan B with ICICI Prudential Banking & PSU Debt Fund, with effect from 07 October 2016. 

The period of exit offer is valid from 06 September 2016 to 07 October 2016.

UTI Capital Protection Oriented Scheme – Series VIII – II (1831 Days) Floats On

NFO period is from 06 September to 20 September 2016 

UTI Mutual Fund has launched a new fund named as UTI Capital Protection Oriented Scheme – Series VIII – II (1831 Days), a close ended capital protection oriented income scheme. The duration of the scheme is 1831 days from the date of allotment. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs 10 per unit. The new issue will be open for subscription from 06 September to 20 September 2016. 

The investment objective of the scheme is to endeavor to protect the capital by investing in high quality fixed income securities as the primary objective and generate capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments as secondary objective. 

The scheme offers growth and dividend (payout) options under both regular sub plan and 
direct sub plan. 

The scheme shall invest 70-100% of assets in debt & money market instruments with low to medium risk profile and up to 30% in equity & equity related instruments with medium to high risk profile. 

Minimum application amount is Rs 5000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. 

The fund seeks to collect a minimum subscription (minimum target) amount of Rs 20 crore under the scheme during the NFO period. 

Entry and exit load charge will be not applicable for the scheme. 

Benchmark Index for the scheme is CRISIL MIP Blended Index. 

The fund managers of the scheme are Sunil Patil and Srivatsa. 

HDFC Arbitrage Fund Announces Dividend

Record date for dividend is 08 September 2016 

HDFC Mutual Fund has announced 08 September 2016 as the record date for declaration of dividend under the regular plan-normal dividend option of HDFC Arbitrage Fund-Wholesale Plan. 

The amount of dividend will be Re 0.05 per unit on the face value of Rs 10 per unit.

With effect from 06 September 2016 

SBI Mutual Fund has announced change in exit load structure under the following schemes, with effect from 06 September 2016. 

Accordingly, the revised exit load will be: 

SBI Corporate Bond Fund

For exit within 12 months from the date of allotment:
– For 8% of the investment – Nil
– For the remaining investment – 3% 

For exit after 12 months but within 24 months from the date of allotment:
– For 8% of the investment – Nil
– For the remaining investment – 1.5% 

For exit after 24 months but within 36 months from the date of allotment:
– For 8% of the investment – Nil
– For the remaining investment – 0.75%
