Indirect tax revenue collections rises 7.4% to Rs 4,78,630 crore in April-February 2015

Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) collections have increased from Rs 4,41,565 crore in April-February 2014 to Rs 4,78,630 crore during April-February 2015, showing an increase of 7.4 %. This is an achievement of 88.5% of the revised target fixed for RE 2014-15. 

Customs collections have increased from Rs 1,57,944 crore during April-February 2014 to Rs 1,70,943 crore during April-February 2015 registering an increase of 8.7%. This is an achievement of 90.6% of the revised target fixed for 2014-15. 

Service Tax collections have increased from Rs 1,34,201 crore in April-February 2014 to Rs 1,45,007 crore during April-February 2015 registering an increase of 8.3 %. This is an achievement of 86.2 % of the revised target fixed for 2014-15. 

Central Excise collections have increased from Rs 1,49,420 crore in April-February 2014 to Rs 1,62,680 crore during April-February 2015 registering an increase of 5.3%. This is an achievement of 88.5 % of the revised target fixed for 2014-15.
