ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has filed offer document with Sebi to launch ICICI Prudential Capital Protection Oriented Fund – Series VIII, a close ended capital protection oriented fund. The New Fund Offer price is Rs 10 per unit. The scheme will have Plan A to J. The tenure of the Plans will have duration from 12-60 months from the date of allotment.
Investment objective: The investment objective of the plans under the scheme is to seek to protect capital by investing a portion of the portfolio in highest rated debt securities and money market instruments and also to provide capital appreciation by investing the balance in equity and equity related securities. The debt securities would mature on or before the maturity of the plans under the scheme.
Plans/ option(s): Cumulative and dividend (payout) options under both regular option and direct option.

Asset Allocation:
For tenure of 12 months: The scheme shall invest 91-100% in debt securities & money market instruments and up to 9% in equity & equity related securities.
For tenure of 24 months: The scheme shall invest 85-100% in debt securities & money market instruments and up to 15% in equity & equity related securities.
For tenure of 36 months: The scheme shall invest 75-100% in debt securities & money market instruments and up to 25% in equity & equity related securities.
For tenure of 48 months: The scheme shall invest 70-100% in debt securities & money market instruments and up to 30% in equity & equity related securities.
For tenure of 60 months: The scheme shall invest 65-100% in debt securities & money market instruments and up to 35% in equity & equity related securities.
