Outflow of Rs 196.80 crore on 11 May 2010
Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 196.80 crore on Tuesday, 11 May 2010, as against an inflow of Rs 123.50 crore on Monday, 10 May 2010. The net outflow of Rs 196.80 crore on 11 May 2010 was a result of gross purchases Rs 439.20 crore and gross sales Rs 636 crore. The BSE Sensex fell 189.02 points or 1.09% to 17,141.53 on that day. MFs sold shares worth net Rs 746 crore in May 2010 (till 11 May 2010). MFs had sold shares worth net Rs 1410.40 crore in April 2010. |
