Outflow of Rs 13.70 crore on 7 May 2010
Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 13.70 crore on Friday, 7
May 2010, as against an inflow of Rs 32.80 crore on Thursday, 6 May
2010.
The net outflow of Rs 13.70 crore on 7 May 2010 was a result of
gross purchases Rs 589.10 crore and gross sales Rs 602.80 crore. The
BSE Sensex fell 218.42 points or 1.29% to 16,769.11 on that day.
MFs sold shares worth net Rs 657 crore in May 2010 (till 7 May
2010). MFs had offloaded shares worth net Rs 1410.40 crore in April
2010.
