Sales worth Rs 571.10 crore on 6 January 2010
Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 571.10 crore on
Wednesday, 6 January 2010 as against a meager inflow of Rs 43.40 crore
on 5 January 2010.
The net outflow of Rs 571.10 crore on 6 January 2010 was a
result of gross purchases Rs 654.40 crore and gross sales Rs 1225.50
crore. The BSE Sensex rose 14.89 points or 0.08% at 17,701.13 on that
day.
MFs sold shares worth net Rs 725.30 crore in January 2010 (till
6 January 2010). MFs sold shares worth net Rs 1761.90 crore in December
2009.
