Sales worth Rs 340.40 crore on 11 May 2009
Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 340.40 crore on Monday, 11 May 2009, much higher than Rs 71.40 crore on Friday, 8 May 2009.
MFs' net outflow of Rs 340.40 crore on 11 May 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 284.10 crore and gross sales Rs 624.50 crore. The BSE Sensex lost 193.44 points or 1.63% to 11,682.99 on that day.
MFs were net buyer of shares worth Rs 68.10 crore in May 2009 (till 11 May 2009).
